Buckeye Tails

Here are some funny or serious or stuff like that kinda story’s about the best, most obidiant, smartest, funniest, energeticest (?), dog in the world!!! BUCKEYE!!! These are stories about his life and what it has done to change mine! He is the best dog in the world and i love him with all my heart!

Here is the story of how i got Buckeye: A cat was either stray or ran away, or abanded. Well, either way, she decided to live under my deck in my back yard. We had no idea she was in there. And trust me, it was a she. I know that because she had a litter of kittens under my deck. When my dad found the kittens and watched them go back under the deck, he went out and bought a few traps. He caught all the kittens, and used one of them to catch the mother. Our neighbor took the fluffiest kitten. And the rest we took an animal rescue center. The would accept the kittens….but not the mom. So i don’t know what my dad did with the cat. I think he let her free. He’s not the kinda guy who would just kill a cat so i think he just let her free. Well, anyways, while my dad was at the animal recue center, he saw this cute little dog who really needed a home badly cuz he was in bad shape.  He couldn’t bark yet, he was really tiny and just born.  So when my dad came home, he told us that there was a really cute dog there and since i was begging my parents for a dog, they decided to check him out. We went there and my mom was like we are NOt getting that dog (the one my dad told us about) because there was a chart that showed what they are going to look like when they’re older and it was ugly. My mom said uh-uh no way natta no chance. So we were all like man this stinks! But then there was a cage with 3 mixed breed dogs and they were sooooo cute! So we checked them out. The first one was black, brown, white, red, all sorts of colors! He just didn’t seem interested in us, like he was to good for us. The second one was all dark red, and he got so nervous he peed! lol! The last one, well, once he stepped foot in the little cage where we were in, he came running to me, up my chest, and tackled me to the ground. He was licking my chin and all over my face it was so funny!!! So right away my family was like “That’s the one!” and we took him home! It was like a fairytail! That was the happiest day of my life!
